Washington Sports Marketing was founded by Gareth Groves, Shannon Richardson, and Troy Hines in January of 2006. The company is a Washington D.C.- based sports agency that allows the community and local businesses to work with nationally recognized athletes and celebrities. 

In the past, WSM has forged partnerships with corporations such as PNC Bank and Comcast Sportsnet, 
as well as charities including, The National Kidney Foundation and
The Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
